by Claire, Anderson-Foothill branch What is LET? It is the League of Extraordinary Teens. The League meets together once a month online to advise the City Library how to serve teens like them better. No matter what library branch (or branches!) you frequent, you can apply to help make us better at serving teens like you! You also get volunteer hours, and job experience! You also get to learn a lot about how the library works! All meetings are on the 4th Saturday of the month from 11:30-12:30. Membership is capped at 15 teens ages 11-17. Please plan to attend at least six meetings a year. LET meetings involve helping plan library programs such as Geek Prom, 100 Books Before Graduation, Teen Squad and the LIT Loot boxes. We also like to get feedback and ideas on what the library can do for teens in these challenging times! You can apply at: https://services.slcpl.org/let The City Library encourages a respectful and focused dialogue on blog posts. Comments must be reviewed by a blog administrator.
