Teen Book Club
Monthly on the 2nd Saturday Meet new people, discover great books, and have some snacks in this book club by teens, for teens. Teen Book Club meets the second Saturday of each month to discuss books chosen by students from West, East, and Highland high schools. You'll even get a free copy of the month's book after you register! |
Make Zines Thursdays at 4pm!
Teen Zine Team is a weekly online hangout session where you can meet new people, and spark your own creativity and self-expression! Local zine artists, along with our Teen Services Librarians, will introduce you to this underground art form and guide you on your zine-making journey. Teen Zine Team meets every Thursday, from 4–5pm, in the Teen Lounge at the Main Library. This group is held in partnership with Grid Zine Fest. Please register online, space is limited to 16 participants. |
Alphabet Soup
an LGBTQ+ Group for Teens 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 4-5pm Alphabet Soup is an inclusive, safe, weekly hangout for LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies. Build new friendships through conversations, gaming, casual activities, and more! Meetings will alternate locations, with the 1st Wednesday at the Sprague Branch and the 3rd Wednesday at the Day-Riverside Branch. Register online |
Tween Book Club
The Tween Book Club is back and in-person! Each month, we'll read and discuss a book chosen for Tweens ages 10-12, and together we'll hang out, have fun, and share a love of reading. This club meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 4:30–6:00 pm, at the Anderson-Foothill Branch. Registration is required.
