Meet the Marmalade Branch Teen Squad!

Hi, my name is Yoli and I am a teen librarian at the Marmalade Branch of the City library. I enjoy working with our amazing team of teen volunteers. I also enjoy reading graphic novels, and watching animated movies and series. Horror comedy, and Sci fi are some of my favorite genres.

Hi, my name is Ori. I’m 15, turning 16 in August, and I’ll be a Junior at West High next year. This will be my 2nd year volunteering for Marmalade. I enjoy drawing and painting (particularly with watercolor), writing poetry, and playing the piano. I am also a student at Gifted Music School and attend the conservatory program for piano there. I enjoy making buttons for the library.

Hi, my name is Liam. I’m 13 and will be in my last year of middle school next year at Salt Lake Arts Academy. Although I volunteered last school year, this will be my first summer in Teen Squad (Marmalade branch). I love doing art using Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I listen to true crime podcasts and comedy specials, and read dystopian novels. I love doing little projects at the library and just helping in general.

Hello! I'm Fatima (^o^)/!
I'm a teen who has graduated from high school, helping out for the first time in Teen Squad at the Marmalade branch. I'm an artist who makes artwork in all sorts of mediums, comics, zines, clay and animations (sometimes lol). I enjoy comics, manga, anime, games and animation. I'm incredibly passionate about the media I consume; I could go all day talking about these things.
I have always loved the Library atmosphere and; hope to help in any way I can (>‿◠)✌!

Hi! My name is Laynee and this is my fourth year volunteering for the marmalade TeenSquad. I love to be outside and mountain bike or hike with my friends and family and I love to read. I am very excited about being a part of TeenSquad this year!

Hello, my name is Emma. I’m 16 and a junior at Juan Diego High School, and this is my first year volunteering with Teen Squad. I love music, art, writing, and of course reading. Some of my favorite genres are classics, thrillers, and memoirs. I look forward to helping out with Teen Squad this summer!

This is Marta’s second summer as a Teen Squad volunteer. He is going into 10th grade in the fall.

This is Silvana’s first summer as a Teen Squad volunteer. She is going into 8th grade in the Fall.
