"Hey guys! It's Matt Jaggi here with the Salt Lake City Public Library. So, I wanted to do another book discussion for our teens, because we miss all of you, and we want to give you some fun reading recommendations that you can do during quarantine. So, the book I chose for this week is called The Witches by Roald Dahl. And truth be told, it is more of a junior book but it is so funny. I promise you will not regret reading this, in fact I give myself permission to read this book at least one time a year, and I always get through it in an evening and I'm always just like shaking with laughter 'cause it's that good.

"So, a little bit more about this book...it revolves around this young boy. We actually don't even find out his name in the book, but he and his grandma, grandmamma, they go on "holidays" they call it in England, to this little hotel. And there they meet all the witches, and they have to come up with a way to try and defeat all of these witches, 'cause the witches are plotting to turn all the children of the world into mice! And so, it's just really, it's a gem. Trust me on this.

"So, if you just need like a fun, delightful read, The Witches is your book. And I also checked and it is available for checkout on Libby. Probably Overdrive as well. All you need is your library card to set up a free account and you can check it out as an audiobook or and ebook. Alright, happy reading guys. We miss you!"
